Questions parents ask
The programme
What is the time commitment?
Monday to Friday for three weeks of the school holidays. Voyage I runs 30 November to 18 December. Mornings from 9:30am to 12:30pm are compulsory. Afternoons until 5pm are open build hours with mates on hand.
What happens each day?
A numbers round, a seminar, then a mission block with the crew's mate (a part-time guide). Afternoons are for building. Every Friday each crew reviews its progress together.
Does my child need to know how to code?
No. AI does the production work. We teach students to direct it, and spend most of the time on what AI can't do: talking to people, selling and deciding.
What if my child has no idea what to build?
Most don't on day one. Week 1 is about finding a problem by talking to people. Anyone still without a problem by Wednesday of week 1 works it out one-to-one with Neo.
Is this only for future founders?
No. Employers and universities look for the same things: initiative, judgement and proof that you have shipped something real.
Applying
Who can apply?
Students aged 16 to 19 who have finished O-levels, are in JC, or have finished A-levels or poly. Most poly terms run into mid or late December, so Voyage I clashes for current poly students. Voyage II runs 15 March to 2 April 2027, inside the poly March vacation. Join its waitlist now.
What does the application involve?
A five-minute form, then a 15-minute call with Neo for the student and a parent together. Offers go out within 48 hours.
Do you look at grades?
No. We look at curiosity and willingness to try. We want a mix of students who are sure they want to build and students who aren't.
What do you look for on the call?
Whether the student wants to make something real and is willing to talk to customers. There are no right answers.
Cost and logistics
How much does it cost?
S$1,800 for Voyage I. That includes S$300 of real money to test with, AI tools, mentoring, the certificate and lifetime membership of the Agora. The Voyage II fee will be announced to the waitlist first.
Who keeps the money my child makes?
Your child does. Customers pay into their own verified account. Once the S$300 float is repaid, the profit is theirs, and Argo covers any loss on the float.
Is the deposit refundable?
Yes. The S$300 deposit is refundable until the balance is due, before the voyage starts.
Where is it?
In central Singapore. We confirm the venue on your call.
Can it help with university admissions?
Students leave with a portfolio of real work: a product, numbers, a demo video and a reference. Many universities consider this kind of evidence. We make no admissions promises.
